A Series of Anti-Racism Lessons
I wrote a series of lessons to teach the kids at the Little Peach House School. These lessons helped me understand how to better teach my children to be anti-racist. There are links to many resrouces in here. I tried my very best to base these lessons on research from Black perspectives and Black Authors.
A Day of Photos • June 2
We moved! It’s nuts. About 2 weeks after we moved in I did a day in the life of photos. We had visitors, life was really weird. It feels like 3 days and 3 years ago all at once.
An Article About the Kids Being Home

I’m Arguing Why I Think You’re Amazing
This quarantine is really hard, and if you’re like me, you’re feeling like you’re not handling it very well. But I have many reasons why I think we’re actually pretty amazing. Here’s the link!
Little Peach House School
In the spring I taught a free school for 4 months. It was so special to have a community and to get to teach which this pandemic has taught me I miss so very much. At The Little Peach House School all were welcome. You can watch the recordings if you’d really like a laugh.
A Day of Photos • March 31
I documented my family for one full day during our time home during this pandemic. You can see the images here on my blog.
FLORALS FOR FOOD
One thing that hasn’t change is nature. The flowers are in bloom, the sun is shining or the rain is nourishing and I’ve been using photography as therapy. I have these images for sale here- all proceeds for the month of May will be matched by me (up to $250 or more) and will go to Project: Food Is Love. This is an organization that is using donations to buy food from restaurants to feed local families. Many of the families they are feeding have students that go to the school that my husband teaches at in Seattle. Almost all these images are freelensed which basically means that they’re intentionally blurry in places because of a technique I used.
Art Lessons From Mo!

So Many Great Math Ideas
Math For Love has tons of free lessons, games, and ideas to make math fun and interesting. They also make Tiny Polka Dot cards. They also are my friends and play frisbee with my husband. I recommend signing up for their newsletter. Link to their games!
All Free Resources In One Spot
This list is super overwhelming but I also love how many companies and organizations are coming together to educate our children.
Are unicorns real? Can animals laugh?
What’s the biggest excavator? All questions I actually am pretty interested in diving into with my kids. All based on questioning, these science lessons at Mystery Science are organized by grade level and great for kids (and their adults)
A Note on Compassion
Here’s a beautiful reminder made by my sister.
A Song About Self Quarantine
Here are some things you can do on Self Quarantine by Anna Tivel … This one isn’t child friendly or conservative but made me smile.
